How are Arctic ecosystems changing?

The Arctic Ocean is warming at twice the rate of the rest of the world. This is leading to a rapid loss of ice from this habitat. We want to know how warming will affect the Arctic ecosystem, from the small floating plants (algae) up to the large animals (seals and polar bears).

We are studying the Arctic food web to find out how seals will cope with changes to their habitat. To find out more about what we are doing and why, visit our Blog and follow us on Twitter.
